Hi, everyone, I’m excited to tell you about a new option for taking speech and voice practice wherever you go. Over the last few years computers have gotten smaller and lighter and because of that many of them no longer have CD-DVD players. So, I’ve taken my customer’s favorite programs and put them on a flash drive you just plug into your computer’s USB port. It’s so small you can put it in your pocket or purse and take it with you wherever you go, and I even attached a keyring so you don’t lose it.

When I created the Voice Aerobics® program over 20 years ago, it was because I knew, as a speech-language pathologist, that patients needed tools to help with speech and voice practice during and after therapy. All the Voice Aerobics programs are guided, so there’s nothing to remember making it easy for anyone to use them.

Here’s what’s included in the travel pack:

You can do one program or all three for over 60 minutes of practice, and we even added earbuds.

Add a Hi-VOLT®  voice activated bracelet for calibrated feedback.

Feedback is important for all of use when learning a new skill or trying to excel at a sport. The Hi-VOLT voice-on-light bracelet provides patients with vocal intensity feedback during speech practice or in physical therapy. With a simple, single cue: “speak loud enough to see the light,” most patients are able to generate vocal intensity on a vowel duration task that is 6.5 dBSLP louder than baseline.**

**This average is based on 74 consecutive patients with a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease who underwent a Speech therapy evaluation. Acoustic data was collected using the LSVT Companion softwear, and voice data collected un-cued and cued using the Hi-VOLT with the single cue: “speak loud enough to activate the light.” Watch here: https://youtu.be/4HYlK2aHSyc

My goal in creating the Voice Aerobics family of products is to provide options for voice practice that are portable, affordable, and FUN! So, what are you waiting for?
